The tantalizing aroma of sizzling dishes wafts through the air, promising an exhilarating gastronomic experience. The standout feature here is the dynamic fusion of local and Thai delicacies, offering diners a unique taste journey that showcases the amalgamation of cultures and cooking techniques.

Popular dishes at New Ming Tien include the delightful Sweet and Sour Oink over Rice, which is often praised for its perfect balance of flavours – sweet, tangy, and slightly spicy, leaving your taste buds dancing. For those craving something hearty, the Kam Heong Fried Rice has received mixed reviews but still remains a comforting option for many. Additionally, the Dry Wantan Mee shines as a bestseller, where the noodles, coated in a rich garlic-infused sauce, pair beautifully with smooth wantans and succulent Chaw Siew, making it a must-try for newcomers.

The menu is thoughtfully curated to offer something for everyone, as evidenced by customer reviews. Diners rave about the Pan Mee Soup served with a generous portion that makes each RM10 spent truly worthwhile. Meanwhile, the Pork Soup Noodle strikes a nice balance, though customers have noted to expect more meat. Yet regardless of what you choose, the affordability of each dish is hard to overlook; there's something satisfying about knowing you’re enjoying a filling meal without breaking the bank.

Restaurant reviews reveal a heartfelt connection to the food, particularly with customer 'Shaky Egg' making a special mention of the savoury XO shrimp sauce that elevates the Pan Mee experience. Another customer, 'akira yabe,' praises the smooth taste of the wantan, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality and authentic flavour.

Overall, New Ming Tien Restaurant is a delightful corner of Petaling Jaya, where great food, reasonable prices, and a casual atmosphere come together beautifully. lesser of heirs to ming tien name. good for after-hours free parking near the pyramid. only kopitiam in hood, with double-barrelled taichow action. one each local and thai, latter by way of myanmar. sweet-and-sour oink over rice was good, and hit spot. kam heong fried rice rates as ok, having missed mark.

I have tried 4 different foods here and overall I will say they are quite good and the prices are very fair especially the nasi lemak. As pictured, you can see that the plate is loaded and it was only RM9! I was expecting to pay about RM13 since I normally pay RM9 for mixed rice that has an egg, some veggie and meat. Even the curry CCF below was only RM10, and I took so much I had a little trouble finishing it. Both were really tasty IMO. The pan mee was RM8 for small yet it was huge. It was pretty good too. The mixed rice was RM10 a plate and they were fairly tasty. Overall Ming Tien is a recommended place to eat, an economic alternative just next to Sunway Pyramid
